On Thursday, the 10th of October, David and Lisa visited Oak and Rowan classes to listen to pupils’ speeches. We were blown away by the confidence and effort shown by all of the pupils.
In 5th and 6th class, the following pupils made speeches: Arina, Chantelle, Maria, Michael, Abdullahi, Zdenka, Tyler, Shirelle and Thomas.
In 3rd and 4th class, we heard from: Peter, Mackenzie, Martin, Nathaniel, Martin, Daniella and Isaac.
Ellie, Luca and Bernie gave wonderful speeches on the 11th.
Congratulations to everyone who took part. It can be quite daunting to stand up in front of your peers and deliver a coherent and impactful speech. Nerves were not evident although we are sure that some of you were at least a little bit nervous!
We will announce the names of the selected candidates on Tuesday, the 14th of October. Go n-éirí libh go léir! Good luck!
