Our chess team the Rook Stars took part in the annual Ficheall competition in Ennis National School on the 18th of February. This year had the largest amount of children taking part, with over 500 students competing in chess matches over numerous days. Our team played exceptional, especially by demonstrating their excellent sporting behaviour! Rook stars have been chosen to compete at Comórtas Fichille in a few weeks time. The very best of luck to them at their up coming competition.
