We started a new theme in Aistear this week. The children are enjoying the role-play area with Robin. They are getting into character as teachers and pupils. At the art table, our portraits are inspired by Pablo Picasso. We’ve learned that he was born in Spain and that his father was also an artist. We are using Duplo to build schools and are creating items found at school using playdough. We are also experimenting with weight and capacity at the rice area. Learning through play is great fun!
