Back in January, some of our staff entered Clare Sport Partnership’s Staffroom Steppers challenge. The aim of the initiative was to encourage people working in schools to be active.
As a team, we walked as many kilometres as we could over the four weeks. Our team won the medium-sized school category! As our prize, we won a €100 voucher for Central Sports in Kilrush and were presented with a certificate.
We have purchased 10 street footballs for our school using the voucher and look forward to using them with the pupils of E.E.T.N.S. soon. Julie, Sarah and Mairéad are missing from the photo below! Thanks to Lizzy for organising and well done to all involved!
