Today, on the 17th of October, the following pupils gave fantastic speeches to their classmates in Willow: Saorlaith, Ellie, Eileen, Selma, Nathaniel and Jonath.
The standard of speeches was very high and every pupil spoke brilliantly. It must have been a very difficult decision for the pupils voting. Pupils could choose just one boy and one girl to represent them.
Words such as “democracy”, “inspiring”, “good listening” were all mentioned. One pupil suggested a Spelling Bee as a fun activity for the senior classes and another had the idea of brightening up some of the walls around our school using paint.
Congratulations to all of you. You can all be so proud of your efforts.
