On Thursday March 16th, our parent gardening group met for the first time in our brand new polytunnel. Under the guidance of tutor Shane Shannon, we had great fun learning about different vegetable and flowers. We sowed seeds for a variety of plants: cornflowers, peas, onions, beetroot and carrots.
We are using techniques that make as least waste as possible, and get the maximum use out of everything we can. We look forward to seeing our seeds grow, and we’ll be busy sowing, planting and tending over the coming weeks!
